Hi, I’m Sarah Stevens, artist, designer, and founder and creative director of Soleil Design Co, a branding studio in Massachusetts.

Art and creativity have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From early days at the Worcester Art Museum to earning my BFA from Parsons School of Design in New York City, I’ve always felt most balanced and aligned when I am bringing ideas to life with intention.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with inspiring teams and clients, from top agencies to global brands. These experiences, across people, places, and cultures, continue to shape how I see and approach design.

At Soleil Design Co, we combine this perspective with brand identity design and website design expertise to create thoughtful, strategic, and collaborative solutions. Every project reflects a balance of creative craft and business purpose, helping brands in Massachusetts and beyond shine and achieve their goals.

  • When it came time to name the studio, I kept returning to the word Soleil (pronounced so-LAY), the French word for “sun.” The name also reflects my heritage, as part of my family roots trace back to France.

    The sun sits at the center of our universe. Without it, life would not exist. It provides warmth, illumination, and the energy that allows things to grow. For centuries, civilizations across the world revered the sun as a symbol of life, vitality, and renewal.

    I see branding in a similar way. At the center of every successful business is a clear and authentic core: its purpose, values, and identity. When that core is strong, everything else can radiate outward from it. The brand becomes a source of clarity, attracting the right people and helping the business grow in a natural and sustainable way.

    Soleil Design Co. was built on this philosophy. Thoughtful design does more than make something look beautiful. It illuminates what makes a business unique, brings warmth and personality to its presence, and creates a foundation strong enough for meaningful growth.

    When a brand is built from a strong center, it does not just exist. It shines bright and supports everything it touches.

  • 01. I’m a proud mom to Bijoux (15.5), a stray Russian Blue I adopted from a bodega in Brooklyn, NY.

    02. If the sun is out, so am I. Being an early riser means I get a head start on the day and make things happen from the morning onward.

    03. I’ve lived in many homes and explored countless places…my heart has roots in New York, my soul feels most at home in Massachusetts, and my spirit soars in the tropics.
