This Brooklyn one bedroom rental was transformed into a refined, five star Airbnb available on select weekends and holidays. The homeowner wanted to create a retreat that felt restful, artful, and elevated. A sanctuary that would welcome guests from around the world with warmth and sophistication.

Concept Development and Visual Direction

The goal was to design a space that felt airy yet grounded, luxurious yet livable. We developed a visual direction that balanced lightness with depth, using soft hues and tactile materials to set a tranquil tone. The homeowner's vibrant artwork became the central source of color, while carefully considered shapes and textures brought a sense of sculptural richness.

The design is purpose built for guests seeking a restful escape. Soft lighting, thoughtful textures, and curated decor create an atmosphere that feels both relaxing and styled. The space offers simple luxuries including beautiful materials, personal touches, and a feeling of being cared for. This experience encourages guests to stay longer and return again.

Space Planning and Layout Design

We reimagined the apartment layout to maximize flow and flexibility. Even with limited square footage, each zone including living, sleeping, and relaxing was thoughtfully curated for both function and beauty. Furniture, art, curtains and decor were selected or re arranged to feel intentional and welcoming, without compromising on elegance.

Our Collaborative Result

The final design is a harmonious and elegant retreat. A welcoming, art forward sanctuary that retains the homeowner's creative spirit while offering guests a refined and restful stay. Every element from layout to textiles to lighting works together to elevate the Airbnb without feeling overly staged.
